Several types of buoys have been seen around Bigg City Port and Upriver. Most buoys appear to have faces.
Marker Buoys[]
Marker Buoys are buoys used to mark spots in the water. One marker with a face was seen in Jinxed at Dem Der Rocks, and it sinks when Ten Cents hoots his whistle.

- Some buoy models were sold along with O.J.'s faces.
- Some of the red and white checkered buoys have numbers written on them. One even bears an eye patch.
- The No.2 buoy bares resemblance to "Thunderbird 2".

Wreck Buoy[]
Wreck Buoys are buoys used to mark sunken wrecks of vessels in the harbour.
Biography[]
One wreck buoy was briefly seen in the episode, Jinxed, when Boomer sank on an old sunken garbage barge.

- According to Jeremy King (one of the show's model makers), the wreck buoy was purposely painted to have a hungover look in its eyes as a joke between the crew members.
Light Buoys[]
Light Buoys are buoys with lights fitted on them. They were used to marking spots in the harbour at night. One was seen at the Bridge Café.

Foghorn Buoys are buoys fitted with foghorns to help guide vessels through the fog.

On his way back to the Star Dock, Top Hat passes a foghorn buoy through The Canal.

Whistling Buoys[]
Whistling Buoys are buoys that whistle in the wind to warn ships.
Biography[]
Captain Star once gave Top Hat the job of transporting whistling buoys to the Liner Dock to show Duchess where she knows where to moor. As Top Hat transported the whistling buoys to the Liner Dock, the buoys keep whistling in the wind along with some squawking seagulls, perched on top of them, annoying Top Hat.
