Other Locations

There are quite a few minor locations featured in TUGS that have played major roles in episodes. These include:

The Mudflats

The Mudflats are an area where sediment from the tide has gathered. It's located by Dun Tuggin'. In Sunshine, Zip and Zug trick Big Mac which results with him being stranded on the bank. In the same episode, Sunshine gets stuck and nearly sinks. However this helps the Stars find him and take him home. In Ghosts, Warrior accidentally leads Shrimpers into the bank and later comes back to rescue them.

The Crane Inlet

Appearing briefly in the "Ghosts" as a shortcut for O.J., a number of old cranes are kept here.

Peter Island

• A small island located in the estuary which serves as a quarantine station. If a tramper or ship was suspected to be carrying an infectious disease, they would be moored at the station and await to be inspected. On the Board Game the island is portrayed to be in the middle of the port.

Up River Docks

There are several dock inlets located Up River. The most mentionable one appeared in Bigg Freeze. When a light barge needs to be found for the S.S. Vienna docking, Sunshine takes Ten Cents to an inlet up the river. Zip and Zug had followed them however and blocked the stars from being able to leave. It was only that night when the tide got low that Ten Cents and Sunshine were able to leave with the light barge.
