The Race is the third story in the TUGS 1989 Annual.
Plot
The Star Tugs have to finish work early and when Zorran finds out, he boasts that the Z-Stacks could finish work quicker. He tricks Big Mac into deciding to have a race. However, Zorran has the Zero Fleet perform a bit of sabotage. During the race, Big Mac takes a shortcut and ends up stuck in scrap iron. However, with the help of Grampus, Big Mac manages to win the race regardless.
