- "Warrior might have bumped into things, but I couldn't have done without him. He was a valuable member of my Star Tug team - a striker, you might call him!"
- — Captain Star describing Warrior at the end of his namesake episode
Warrior is Captain Star's fifth tug. He is used for a wide variety of tasks around Bigg City Port. Warrior usually works with Big Mac and sometimes with Top Hat. He is often clumsy, but tries not to mess up. He is known only to get in the way by the Z-Stacks.
Warrior speaks with a deep-toned South London accent.
Biography
TV Series
Warrior's capabilities range from the towing of barges (mainly Lord Stinker) to major liner docking operations, including the Princess Alice and the Duchess. Like the rest of the Star Fleet, Warrior is based on the tugs of San Francisco waters from the 1920s.
In Pirate, Warrior was paired with Top Hat to find out who was stealing Ten Cents' barges. He ended up accidentally backing into one of the barges and setting off the flare, causing an explosion.
In Regatta, Warrior takes part in the parade and tows a decorated Lord Stinker.
Warrior, Sunshine and the Fire Tug were instrumental in stopping the dock fire in Munitions. Despite the Fire Chief's orders, Warrior refused to get to safety due to looking after Puffa, describing him as "a mighty valuble and good friend".
In his namesake episode, Warrior is taken off garbage detail to work with Big Mac to take stone from the quarry to the old quayside. On his journey, Warrior keeps bumping into other workers in the Port. He goes too far when he causes a high wave and it sinks Big Mac's barge. On his way to get a crane, Warrior finds Ten Cents and Top Hat trying to save a sinking Izzy Gomez after he tried to sneak into port without a tow and ran aground. Warrior jumps in to help and with final support from Big Mac, they all rescue Izzy and everyone praises Warrior.
Big Mac and Warrior are once again trying to earn a contract in High Tide, this time for delivering steel. Warrior suggests to follow Zebedee and Zak when they see them going through the canal, but Big Mac tells Warrior the trouble they are getting into due to Zebedee's high load, the high tide and low bridges. By taking Big Mac's advice, Warrior helps deliver the steel and they win the contract.
In Ghosts, Warrior is coming late at night. Some shrimpers are following him and he tells them he knows his way. Unsuspectingly, he doesn't/does not notice a mudbank and swerves out of it's direction at the last minute. The several shrimpers however didn't/did not have time to get out of the mud's way and they become stranded. Warrior doesn't/does not see this but does see and encounter the "Ghost Tugs". He scurries away to the Star Dock, only for next morning be told by Hercules it was only the White Fleet looking for a sunken Galleon.
In Jinxed, although he would appear in a deleted scene, he was cut from the 20-minute version. It's possible that he and Big Mac would have helped Boomer after he had an accident, and it's possible that he would have played a hand in the Duchess docking.
Warrior is working with Top Hat and O.J. in Up River, he is to take Little Ditcher to a factory for demolition when Puffa alerts them of a log flow. Warrior is quick to suggest stopping the logs by making a barrier made out of barge across the river. The barrier is completed with Warrior on the wrong side, leaving him with the logs. Warrior looks doomed at first, but O.J. convinces Warrior to divert the logs. With effort, Warrior shifts the logs towards the factory and the factory is blown up and Up Town is saved.
With no fuel for Lillie Lightship's light in Bigg Freeze, Warrior has the idea to light his garbage on fire to help Hercules and S.S. Vienna reach the meeting point. The fire lasts just long enough for Ten Cents and Sunshine to arrive with their light barge, but it isn't/is not working despite being full of fuel. Warrior then bumps into it by accident which turns it on, and acts as though he did it on purpose to get it working.
Personality
He is extremely hardworking, despite the fact that his inherent clumsiness sometimes leads to problems. He is also quite loyal, strong-willed, determined, and never gives up. Despite Warrior's shortcomings, he has proved himself to be a valuable member of the Star Fleet with notable examples being when he helped put out the fires, saved Izzy Gomez from sinking and stopped the logs that were flowing from up the river. Captain Star has referred to him as a striker. Even though he's not the smartest tug on the fleet, Warrior can occasionally come up with bright (if unusual) ideas in dire situations, such as setting his garbage barge alight to make a beacon for the S.S. Vienna. Whenever he makes a mistake, Warrior is determined to set things right, as seen in "Sunshine," when he is the only tug who openly acknowledges how badly the other Star Tugs treated Sunshine.
Livery
Warrior is painted in the Star Fleet's corporate livery. This consists of a black hull, a yellow superstructure, white mast, and an American flag-styled red, white, and blue funnel. His name is painted on the sides of his bow in white and he has the number "5" on his funnel. He wears a blue cap.

Warrior's whistle has a single note and is very nasally, much like a factory hooter. It is also Johnny Cuba's whistle at a higher pitch.

Trivia
- Originally, Warrior was cynical and lazy, as opposed to clumsy, which earned him the nicknames of Slouch and Worrier. In early 1987, he was made into a much friendlier character.
- After Tugs' production ended, Warrior's model was purchased by The Star Tugs Company, an organization which aimed to restore and preserve the models.
- It is currently unknown if Warrior's other face masks still remain in existence.
- Warrior is the only member of the Star Fleet to have a fire hose.
- It appears before Warrior started to use Lord Stinker, Zug would take him.
- Unlike the other tugs (aside from Sea Rogue's Uncle), Warrior has a bushy front fender. This might be to indicate his clumsiness. Also, Warrior does not have any side-bumpers like most of the other tugs.
- Warrior's hat has a slightly crooked brim.
- Warrior (along with Hercules, Billy Shoepack, Lillie Lightship, and Boomer) is one of the few Watercraft Characters to have hair showing from underneath their hat.
- His theme tune is a musical variation of the Liberty Bell March as used for the opening theme of Monty Python's Flying Circus and Trevor's theme from Thomas & Friends.
- He and Sunshine are the only characters to have an episode named after them. Had the cancelled episode Hercules been produced, Hercules would have joined this club.
- Warrior's face is based off of model maker (Jeremy King).
- Warrior has appeared in each episode except for Trapped.
